Uploaded a Curious little item:

Apparently this cold cream has "just the right amount of radioactivity"

Wonder if that model is still alive.

Sounds like Eve Arden on the voiceover.

I'm certain it's not Eve Arden. My guess would be Deborah Kerr.

I want to try writing to the PO Box at the end of the ad to see if they'll send me that booklet.

LOL, well I don't think you'll get a response, other than your letter returned with "addressee unknown" written across the front.

Actually, sorry to kill the fun but what they did was put radioactive DIRT on her face and used that as a 'tracer' to see how much the various products would remove. So the product itself is not radioactive.

Still back then with the cold war going on, I'm sure some people were planning to use this stuff to 'decontaminate' themselces if the need every arose.

When fallout strikes, reach for your Dorothy Gray Cosmetics!!

I've edited the description now so that it is actually correct. Still has my trademark sense of humour however.
